THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

allow me to rephrase: good beer does come in growlers, kegs, and 22oz bottles. good beer is not served by the pitcher for 2 reasons: it'll get warm if it sits too long and some beers need to be poured a certain way into a certain kind of glass... wachusett brewery beer is good but not great IMHO. i have yet to have it really fresh at the brewery, though and that does make a big difference.

You're drinking wrong if this happens.

Pitchers have handles and a place to pour from.

It does. They also currently have four beers that you can ONLY get in Westminster. Those are the ones we're talking about.

Which ones? The four hometowns are:

The Sweet Sixteen is very similar (and better than, IMO) to Guinness. The Hometown is a good bitter IPA, the Homegrown isn't to loaded with Hops, but is definitely present, and the California style is a very traditional IPA.

Now I'm going to work on the Jeep, so unless you are coming up that all from me for the night. :)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i <3 stouts. and ipas. and anything with a smoky flavor. i once had a triple hefeweizen that tasted like "roasted"

guinness is much better in ireland. no joke. it's fresher and has no preservatives. and it's got more flavor and is thicker. milk stouts are good, they're just very sweet. my girlfriend likes them a lot. i tend to prefer dry stouts.

in other news i just had an epiphany. i'm cooking hamburger helper right now. usually when i eat it i add frank's red hot... so i thought, why not cook it in? and on that note i added crushed red peppers and parmesan cheese too

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

same... wanna grab some food some time next week in the evening?

Give me a call I'm usually around. My GF wont go because why go out for a burger when you can make it at home. This is coming from someone who would rather put said burger in a frying pan instead of on the grill.

that's what's wrong with her life.

Not hard for her to do that she only slightly browns each side, if theres any left after eating it raw. Nasty

I'm not that into the flavor it gets from it, not to mention when I bartended for awhile a small bar, I had to cook burgers all the time on a large Foreman.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

ah that would do it. i don't care for the flavor the grill gives... i always add my own spices.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

my girlfriend would eat breakfast 3 meals a day if she could. i like your choice of cutlery haha

If i can remember to get one from work, we have these gallon containers for dressings, mayo, etc that have these plastic lids that make PERFECT molds for burgers.(about 8 oz of meat fits).
They make the perfect thickness and stay perfectly round when u cook em.
Gotta try it, works great:peace:
