got some free dana 30 axle shafts from billy today realy just needed pass side shaft but who can complain with getting both for free, got home to put em in and noticed the pass side ujoint was bad, so i just tossed in the spare 760 joint i had layin around now all is good i hope, time for test drive

well this has been an interesting few days...

I got a fleck of steel from my angle grinder in my eye because I was an idiot and only wore my polycarb lense glasses, not real safety glasses. Thought it came out, thought I had just scratched it and that it would get better by itself, it got worse instead... went to the ER last night after I looked in the mirror and saw it stuck in my cornea (turns out it was 30% of the way in.) They popped it out pretty easy but had to use a burr to remove the rust from me leaving it in there for so long (god I'm an idiot), gotta go back tomorrow for more rust removal, I didn't even get any happy pills out of it.

This year is off to a beautiful start

I just got back from snowboarding at Sunday River maybe an hour ago. HOLY SHIT it was awesome. I got up at 5:30 yesterday, picked up my buddy and his g/f and away we went. It took nearly 5 hours to get up there (should be 3.5) due to the storm. We then rode until 5, ended up grabbing a pretty pimpin room on the mountain, and were back on the trails this morning by 8:15, for FRESHIES!! powder as far as the eye could see!!

it also took almost 5 hours to get back again tonight, again due to the same storm. but awww yeahhhhhh it was sweet! i'm sore as shit now too

i might get up to Sugarloaf this week too, maybe Thursday / Friday since one of my roommates is from right up there and she's trying to get up there. I'd just hope I don't have to drive, since Sugarloaf is FAR, like 4.5 hours on a good day!

i didn't use 4wd once on either the way or way back, since it's a pain to change it so I said XXXX it, i'll stay in 2! only fishtailed a few times, and those certainly were on purpose . the red truck did have 2 new rear tires though, but because of the damn slashings.

tomorrow i'll be helping steve finish pulling his engine and maybe getting the one from Mark in. he's got it to just hanging on by the transmission bolts and motor mounts right now
