i gotta order my install kit and R&P for the 60 at some point this week. it was supposed to be a christmas present, but i never got off my ass.

Where have you guys ordered from? East coast gear supply seems to have the best price and i think thats where colin got his stuff from IIRC.

I got all my stuff from Northridge4x4 (as far as gears/installs go anyway). They don't normally handle D60 stuff, but they were able to order it for the cheapest I could find. However, I got my stuff well before the whole swap-over-debacle for Precision/Alloy, so I don't know what they carry now. I sure wouldn't want Omix-Ada gears. What are you looking at?

Nice. I'd hold on on the welding truss thing until you can mock it under the Jeep. I would think cutting for the coil buckets and UCA would be easier with the truss off.

Nice. My big goals for the day are to get the rear UCA finally in place for the last time and tie them into the B-Pillar. Then paint everything.

Loaded up all my scrap metal and junk parts to take to the metal recycler this morning only to find out that they've decided to be closed today. Damnit. Probably means they'll be closed next Saturday too.

Very true. Maybe ill jsut continue with the coil buckets ive been working on first, then the LCA mounts which will tie into the buckets.

i didnt get much for christmas, just a few tools. i got a set of those nifty racheting box end wrenches that still have the swivel hinge in metric which match my standard set, so those are nice. if my dad werent real broke this year he'd have gotten me a welder. oh wellll. maybe next year!
