I forget where my buddy was, but he is training to be an 88 MIC. He is back until Jan 3 or 4, then goes back to training again until sometime in feb. His platoon ships out in either Jan or early Feb (I think Jan) so he just missed being deployed (he has been told that he wont be deployed with the rest of his platoon). Unless they get re-deployed he is good. Then again he joined the NG for something like 5 years... so he will likely be deployed at some point.

Could pick up the dynomax cat back. I just got it. $100 if you order by the end of Dec I think it is.

Edit: So where is this snow?

That works too. I like the dynomax, I just gotta get it located properly. Seemed to be a bit tight between the leaf spring and the fuel tank, though I wouldnt be suprised if my mount location is incorrect and it's hitting because of that. Nothing a little clearance grinding wont fix :D Either that or it may just need to be repositioned at the rearmost hanger. I will do that and then figure out what I need to do once I get the shackle relocation brackets on. :dunno:

I want to take the Jeep out but my insurance agent didn't get my email until later in the day yesterday... so she couldn't get my insurance and registration paperwork done before close of business (they have a registry in their insurance office, so they take care of it all there and just bring/mail my plates and paperwork to me :D)

So I can't take the Jeep out in this snow. I wanted to drive around and pull people out if I found any... mostly because I just wanted to drive around. But I guess I have to wait till next time :(

the one on my moms jeep had the same issue there jig must be wrong, its sad that the $25 tailpipe from autozone fit better on my blue jeep, and i agree that the dynomax sounds awsome, perfect for a dd, but with the green jeep i gotta make the exsoust spound like the jeep looks:D

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I had an autozone cat, to a cherrybomb muffler run to side exhaust. It sounded pretty mean. When I went grocery shopping in college my roommates could hear me pulling and opened the doors and came out to help me carry stuff to the kitchen :) It wasn't absurdly obnoxious and was even fine for a DD. My brother helped hold my rear bumper up when I installed it last night and saw the exhaust. When I said it wasn't as loud as my old one he said "good, your old one sounded like a mac truck. There were a few times I heard it and wondered what huge truck was coming down our road then heard it downshift and slow for our house... and then realized it was you" I kinda liked it and would have kept it, except for the slight fact that side exhaust would probably get caught up on *insert trail obsticale here* pretty easy, and the XJ is quickly becomign more trail oriented and less street rig very quickly

Also: The guy with teh MJ said he would email pics today (when he got to the shop, since he didn;t have pics on his home computer or something). Still no pics, wtf. Oh well, though he did say that he would rather not fix it and have it ready to drive.. he would rather take less than the asking price (asking price $350) and then work out some price for it to be delivered since he has a flatbed available. If I coudl get that MJ delivered for $350 that would be awesome. Esp if it has the turbine wheels :D
