Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

speaking of i was thinkin of getting a snow run goin there like new years ever or whatever, anyone interested
yes-ish? Need to get 'ready' before I can wheel.. Emailing my insurance agent today to get plates/insurance, then it's juts a matter of having 3.07's with 33's... those dont do well for wheeling :gee:
WTF! my ranger does not want to sstart maybe one day a week, the solenoid just clicks, not like a dead battery (click click click) just one solid click, and then nothing,
but if i keep turning it on off on off on off eventually it will start after 10-20 clicks. I got a new battery. that didnt fix it. any ideas anyone, starter?
Sounds like it could be the starter, at least that is what I would tell myself it was, then I would spend money to replace it... then I would find out that the starter wasn't actually my issue.

Check the voltage at the starter with the key in the on position as well as the cranking position. You should have atleast 10.5 volts. If you have that check all connections and replace the starter selonoid if the connections are fine. You can also have someone try and tap the selonoid while you try and crank it. If that works, well you know what you need a new one of.

if by "tap" you mean "beat with 2x4 or whatever large blunt object is nearby" then that's how I fixed my Jeep when it wouldn't start

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Ya or beat it with a 2x4, sounds good to me..

Really like that rear tire carrier. I was going to weld my tailgate on since I love it so much but this guy looks like he still has a bunch of bed space and can still see out the rear with it hanging down like that. Hmmmm

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Carmelo, I will hug you if you bob the bed. I've always wanted to see someone do it to a 'Manche. I would if I had one or had the money to buy one.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I feel the need to drive out to where-ever this Pano's place is and try it...

...but I would probably end up 10 minutes into the drive and realize that I am within 5 min from a good local shop and call them to get a sub instead of driving a couple hours for food...

...though I feel like I should make a day of it, go to Springfield and get hot table for lunch, maybe hit up Pano's for dinner if it is relatively close to Springfield, then go to Sophs for snacks and drinks at night.

Edit: Breaking News: I really dont want to be at work right now :banghead: :(

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Pano's is about an hour and a half northeast of Springfield, sorry to disappoint...

It's been done to comanches, check pirate.

The comanche is staying stockish. It will be my daily driver. The Honcho on the other hand will have a bobbed bed. 12" is coming when I get the chance. It will be my next big project.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Yeah as soon as I said that I checked pirate for the first time since I bought my Jeep. All I could find was buggied MJ's.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Everything has always been done and chances are you can find it on pirate.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

let's see all your bobbed/dovetailed/caged honcho pics, carmelo. I know you've got some saved if anyone does...
