i had about 1" of free travel then the rest was bumpstop

the jeep handled like it had swaybars, but still could flex a tire into the earths mantle

Yeah I don't need alot of uptravel, it's overrated. I have a ton of down travel and I don't want to waste my leaf springs so I'm just going to cut it down as much as possible 1-3" of uptravel is fine by me.

I REALLY don't want to be at work right now. The only good thing about today [so far] is this extra large honey dew coffee I have right here.

lol yeah I heard you honk and looked in my rear view mirror, saw a green ranger with purple speed splashes going the other way and went "I bet that's bob"

It'll be looking better once I get the new axles, rims, and tires on it... at least to me

So yesterday I get a call from Summit saying that Paypal wouldnt release the money to pay them for the parts I ordered and that they would have to turn the shipment around. That of course made me get in a 4way with Summit, Paypal & my CC co. CC says there waiting for Paypal to take the money, Paypal says there waiting for Summit and Summit says Paypal wont release. This took half a day yesterday to which I just told Paypal to cancel it and called Summit direct. What a cluster. Then I ask Summit about a tracking # and they sent me a confirm email which has my tracking #s for Fedex, UPS & USPS because they shipped my stuff thru all 3. For some reason the P.O. is shipping one fitting.

Its already like Xmas. On Mon. I got orange rollbar padding & heat dynomat, on Tues. I got my Novak shifter, today I'm getting the UPS part of the Summit order, Thurs. gets the rest of it plus my Ballistic Fab order and Fri. gets me my Tcase. Next week I have stuff coming in as well. I'm thinking by the middle of Jan. I'll finally be done building this thing.

This is why I hate paypal and will never voluntarily use them to pay anyone :( They're really really slow and really good at confusing things.

ive been using paypal for like three years and have never had a problem with them. weirdd

I've used Paypal a lot, buying parts, selling parts & even collecting club dues and have never had a problem before. The guy I talked to at Summit said he's had it happen a couple times and its only on Sun./early mornings. My real bitch with Paypal is the fees they apply depending on how the person sends it. I've recieved 7 transactions this week and only half had fees.

Sucks, I hate going to the dentist. The best is when they have about ten sharp stainless steel implements in your face and start trying to make small talk... "so how was your day?" "aguuh ghal gughahghghg" "oh wow that's cool, how did it go"

Friend of mine with the MJ managed to get away without a ticket after being pulled over in New Jersey with it not registered, not insured, with the plates from his totaled honda on it. Luckily he had the signed title with him. The detective who pulled him over was 20 minutes from the end of his shift and didn't feel like dealing with many hours of paperwork, booking, etc etc and they agreed that he was pulled over because his plate was half obscured by snow, got a $25 fine for it, and that he should get the hell out of the state without being pulled over again.

It's registered and insured now, just gotta fix the brakes the rest of the way and replace a few bulbs before it'll pass inspection.

hahah that's great... guess you need a steering brace to drive, and need to drive to get to work, and need to work to pay for food, so it makes sense right? :dunno:

i just had to drive to Gardner to do it. what a hell hole that place is. all the white trash from athol was there to check in with their probation officers. if you have braces and are on probation there is something wrong

How can you get a ticket for "impeded operation" because you have too many stickers?!? something about that seems like the cop was just being a PITA. Some trucks/vans dont even have rear windows or the windows are completely blocked by a dump bed or something... how the hell can you get a ticket for stickers and they dont get a ticket with completely blocked line of sight.
