Beat me to it :roflmao: that is EXACTLY what I was thinking.

I do believe it's time for me to hit the sack... longest OHC install ever! Lesson learned: not all wiring harnesses are equal. Definitely worth it to see the thing installed and working though.

When I get around to mine I think self tapping screws, JB weld, and maybe some RTV will be involved :cheers:

But on a more serious note I am making my own custom OHC. I think I am lining the front 10" or so of my headliner with stainless (or just mild if I decide to be cheap, which I probably will). I already have all of my templates drawn out.. just gotta stop being lazy. But right in the center I am planning to mount my radio head unit so I can run my CB in the dash. should be awesome. I already have one stainless "radio hanger" built but it looked like crap and is a bit too wide.. Then again I did that radio mount out of one solid piece of stainless and just made the bends by hand/hammer.. now that I have some mild and a welder it can do alot better I am sure. Probably swinging by HF for their sheet metal break soon

Note: Hopefully my headliner is still OK. I have had it out of the XJ for a while and last I checked it is standing on end... out in the dirt. So maybe the weather has got to it and killed it It was perfect when I put the XJ in storage, maybe a little bit of sag by the time I stripped the interior... I dont remember.

its a sad/happy day today.

sad-od 2dr xj is gone,sold last night,and picked up this morning.

i used to have a '99 r6.
i really liked how it handled and i miss it alot.
its a really comfortable bike, imo,and the newer ones are even better!

Time to put new headlight enclosure in my XJ and maybe wash it if I'm feeling ambitious.

Also have to fix my bro's front pinion seal.

Then fix the stupid oil breather on my truck.

i really liked how it handled and i miss it alot.
its a really comfortable bike, imo,and the newer ones are even better!

For an '03 with 11,715 miles. He was asking 3600 I got him for 3300. I have yet to see a used bike this clean. Especially for an '03. Has micron high rise and frame/swing arm sliders. Beautiful SE black with dark candy flames. I almost feel bad at the price. Too bad he refused my 3k offer though...

hood latch broke on my moms jeep this morning so later on ill pull the one from the green jeep and put that one in, then ill order hood pins from summit for green jeep yay!

I get it and yes there is something in there about it but I haven't had a chance to read it yet. With Ian being there and him being part of the mag I'm sure it includes the trail ride they did. I just renewed my subscription, thankfully I was lazy and didnt do it during that whole debacle. They changed the font on the cover and I think its actually called CRAWL Hardcore Offroad. crawlmag.com
