THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I just spent the better part of the afternoon reading a certain thread... I now feel dumber

bump, I'm sure I can manage to run over your foot if you really want. I managed to run over my own brother's foot (mostly through his own retardation, honestly) and didn't even really damage it more than some light bruising. Maybe you could get your arm trapped in a differential somehow till everyone else leaves for the movie instead?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Colin ran over my foot at Fall Crawl... I forgave him though :D

:flamemad:, just got home from work and picking up an adapter for my acetylene tank.. only to get home and find out I am out of acetylene.

Oh well, at least I didn't NEED the torch any time soon

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Floor pan replacement update (because y'all really care... and I am not starting a thread for just floor pans, at least not until they are almost done and I start doing other REAL projects that peple would be interested in:laugh: So until then you get to listed to my ramblings)
Made good progress tonight given that I only worked a couple hours and that includes digging a bunch of tables out of the shed and finding all the stuff I needed. Probably only an hour of real work.

Today: Made the last couple patches for drivers side floor pans (drivers seat forward)... I haven't even thought about behind teh drivers seat, though its not as bad as in front of the drivers seat.. except i started prodding around with a punch and found quite a bit more rust than I expected, including a good size spot under the rear seat... that is going to be a fun place to fit a patch to and weld in :banghead:. I would have welded in the drivers side patches tonight except my compressor is buried out in the shed and I didn't feel like digging it out. Gotta use that to punch and flange the patch before welding it in.

Tomorrow: weld in patches, clean up passenger side (most of the floor is already out and cut all the way back to the rear seat mount riser thing). Cut out the remainder of the rust, make patches, weld in as much as possible.

Sunday: Finish passenger side. If I happen to finish the passenger side on Saturday or early Sunday, I will start working behind the drivers seat.

Long thanksgiving weekend if I get the garage:
Drop fuel tank and tackle the cargo area, then finish anything other patching that needs to be done, make up some New rocker panels. Maybe pick up insurance/registration at some point this week. Inspection after the long weekend.

Jeep back on the road in a couple weeks, with actual FLOORS?!!??! :D Hells to the yeah. Now we need to have another meet and greet... F1 Boston? :rof:
