THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I think I've worked about 50 hours this week so far.

I won't be in on Monday.

And maybe Tuesday as well and use some PTO. I could use some time off...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Yeah you could. so you can come to my house. And of course we'd go to Pano's :)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

the game plan for tonight does in fact include fixing that tractor up the rest of the way (the carburetor works now!) and riding it around town drunk. It's got straight pipes. This should be amusing.

we need to have mike photoshop you in the driver seat of that one

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

no photoshop required, we just need someone to take an actual picture, because he's ACTUALLY gonna drive it! :)

Why does that sound a lot better than my night. ::sigh:: I wish I had a tractor to get running. My buddy has an old lawn tractor that has been sitting around for ages, I want to fix that up but I would feel strange going and asking his parents if I could take it. I'm sure their parents wouldn't care, but my buddy is currently at boot camp (graduates in a week actually) so I can't get in touch with him about it. That tractor pulled mean wheelies with my buddies 250+ lb father riding it. Thing was mean. I think I want to get it running so I can race it :D

Regular D44 RCV birf shafts.

I wonder how they hold up? Could be worth it for 37s-38s if they're that strong.
Well, no more 19spline outers would be nice. Yet, the $1,085.00 (+$199.99 for 30spline flanges) price tag isn't so hot for D44 sized stuff. To bad the D60 version is twice that price or I'd get those instead of 10Factory's/Longfeild's I'm gunning to buy when the cash comes around.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Yikes! Just called a place in pelham, they want fricken 500 bucks for a d30 with 4.10s in it. I can buy a d30 at sam's and two sets of d30 gears from national drivetrain for only a little more than that :scared:

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I remember back in the days of middle school when people would ask what my favorite class was and I would say recess (or lunch once I was a bit older and didn't have recess anymore)...

...now that I am working full time I still agree 100%. Lunch is the best time of day (other than "going home" which is usually followed by "drinking beer")

I have a jeep problem. 1996 4.0L automagic.

Will not idle, runs fine when your foot is on the gas but as soon as you take it off it sputters and sometimes stalls.

When you attempt to restart it is a very hard start.

I replaced the entire throttle body with one out of a running jeep. Plan to check fuel pressure next. any input?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Distributor clocking maybe?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I feel like I had that same issue. Let me search my old threads... I will get back to you on that...

How is the battery? That happens when I have to Jump cars. It has happened on my green Jeep, my friend's TJ, and my dad's TJ. What happens is the computer loses the idle settings, then has to relearn them after the car is turned back on.
What does holding your foot on the gas for a while, keeping it at a steady RPM, then letting go after a about a minute or two do?
