as far as the whole leaf/coil debate goes... my pick would be leaf front and triangulated 4 link in the rear. or coilovers at all 4 corners :D

hey, someone had to at least partially side with billy :)

Btw, I'm not talking on an XJ specifically...just in general, I like how a leaf sprung front end performs/responds and I like the flext of a 4 linked rear. The front stays nice and stable with no scary coil-unloading, and the rear flexes like mad to follow whatever path the front wants it to go, and lets the axle follow the terrain more to aid in smooth climbs :) I'll be the first to say I hate having leafs in the rear of my Jeep. I just see it as a necessary evil, and probably one of the last things I'll change, after the chop, cage, etc.
