THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

boondock saints II was good, but had some cheesy parts.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Ya I believe it was a red xj. The fenders was painted black? At FC he was at Swanzy.

They looked good, I thought they were functional. But I had never got a good look at them.
Yah, that's him.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I checked my oil today since my motor has been acting funny. It was low of course. So I rummaged through my girlfriend's garage and found two different brands of 5w-30 and a 1/4 pint of synthetic. So I got a pretty sweet mix of oil in there now. It squeeks everytime I take a turn so I'm going to soak the front U joints in WD40 tomorrow if I can find some that I can borrow from somebody tomorrow. This jeep is awesome....

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

It was a really super nice day

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

yeah I opened my back door expecting to be hit with a blast of cold air... and it was freakin warmer than it was in my apartment! so I opened the windows.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I wonder if I can get an hpd30 out of sam's in under an hour... think I'll charge up the sawzall and make a try for it tomorrow morning.

(I have one already, but my plan is to buy another one, rebuild it and gear it up etc, then drop it in my jeep, repair my old one properly and sell it to my friend with the MJ. keeps my DD DDable and yet costs me fairly little!)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

don't waste $ repairing something for sale. you'll never make your $ back between parts and labor.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Who in UJ has the tube fenders? I saw them at Fall Crawl and thought they were spiffy looking, didn't have time to really look how they were built tho. Where do they tie in? Do you have a front unibody frame stiffner?

And also a couple weeks ago I went through Wombass Pass 2 where two of your XJ's broke and I snapped ears off of 2 axle shafts and blew a bead and caved in the quarter panel area behind the rear tires, both sides. It's a tough trail, short though.

ive been told the 2nd half of the trail is pretty bad, i never got to see it as the others decided to break there shit

All it needs is some new brackets. I can weld new ones on pretty easy (and he lets me use his garage) and I know I'll get at least what I paid for materials. Also I guess I wasn't too clear on the whole plan - I'm buying another so I can work on it when I have time to over the course of multiple days and still be able to get to work. Fixing and selling the other one is just to get it out of my storage unit and recover some cash afterwards.

HOLY F*CK I WANT IT!

There was one of those with some modernized stuff to it down in Carlisle 2-3 years ago.

It had a 5.7 Hemi in it and some other amenities. Was friggin awesome.

I want to own one so bad. I'd have to wheel it though.

EDIT - The '70 Charger is pretty cool too :D

Yeah sorry about that. Fall Crawl was my test run. If I didn't have to pay stupid ass school bills I'd LOVE to go back and run it again this year but I don't think I'll be able to wheel (financially) again before the snow falls most places :-\ We'll see though, if that changes I'll be sure to let you (and everyone else :D) know.
