THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I wondered what was going on with that...

still think the guy trying to sell a d35 for $200 was funnier though.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

:roflmao: who's got a Toyota to post as well?

Yeah... I tried to move to southern NH, but someone got an accepted offer on the one place I liked the look of the very same day I had my showing. And pretty much anything else is way out of sane commuting range. This state is retarded but I'm pretty much stuck here for a few years I think.

The only things I'm worried about with the place in Westminster - I can't figure out what it's got for sewerage (claims private, but I couldn't find a septic field in the dark. I suspect, and fear, a cesspool) and heat/insulation. As long as the well *works* (for long enough for me to save up an ohshit fund to fix it when it breaks) I'm cool with having a well, which it has.

EDIT: oh yeah, what does "a while" mean in your experience? My bet is "a year or five, and no stupid criminal stuff on your record".
whoah whoah whoah.
i might be able to get you a hook up or at least some decent places around here.
i have a friend whos father owns a-zabbo realty. if you are interested i can talk to him.

that'd be really awesome - just a heads up though, I'm looking for a really wacky place. Ideal would be:
* don't care what condition it is in so long as it has a mostly waterproof roof, a solid frame, and a solid foundation.
* 1/4 or ideally 1/2 or 1 acre.
* gun / vehicle friendly (i.e. I want to be able to get FID/LTC at some point, not immediately, and I don't want to deal with an HOA or anyone who will try and tell me that I can't work on my Jeep in the driveway :D)

Real problem is that my budget is about 60k at this point. A fixer upper is more my style anyways. The place I found in NH was listed at 49k, would have been awesome but someone jumped on it too fast, and I can't find anything else within 45 minutes drive of Hudson MA that's under 60k and isn't a trailer (manufactured is OK so long as it has a basement/real foundation)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

there is a 1 acre lot thats has a slab poured already.five minutes from 113 on pepperal, and about 15-20 to 495.
there are others,as tyngsboro seems to be full of the types of houses you are looking for.
my friend just closed friday on one on shurburne rd in pelham.reaaal cheap.
ill see what i can do, just gimme a day or two.

EXACTLY what I'm after. I want a basement knife throwing / archery range, a machine shop, a ham shack, an electronics shop (these last 3 to be combined probably), and a 2-3 bay garage to wrench in.

Since I'm mostly looking for a fixer upper, my plans all along have been to buy the place and a week later throw a crazy party for all my friends where I pass out crowbars and sledge hammers and say "we need the walls to be down to the studs in this room now. Don't break the windows."

Do duplexes come with badass garages large enough for lifted Jeeps? I've never seen em in anything except subdivisions that would have angry whiny neighbors. (if you're serious that is)

dude, you had me at knife throwing.
how about an airsoft range?
It shoots at 575 fps and 3500-4000 rpm with .20G airsoft rounds. It destroys anything you point it at.he was using 100PSI shop air in the video.

lets throw eachother thrue walls.

yes they do. at least the one up the street is.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

holy christ that's awesome!

Right now the only weapons I have are my combat knives (crappy, but I use em for knife throwing practice when I can find a place to do so), my crossbow pistol (probably illegal but I only use it inside), and my .177 air pellet gun... friend of mine (the guy with the MJ and the honda, I've tried to harass him into signing up here but he hasn't yet) has a .22 air pellet rifle that rocks pretty hardcore too.

EDIT: what I have http://www.pyramydair.com/p/beeman-p17-marksman-2004-air-pistol.shtml

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

oh... and I still haven't built my XJ crossbow yet... I still have this saggy set of rusted rear stock leafs around, I have been meaning to build a crossbow out of the main leafs (one above one below the bolt) but haven't done so yet.

and other random stuff,im sure im forgetting.

i hope you guys get to see the map gas potatoe gun.
the limitation on the barrel length was the size of the xj he has.
oh and it also shoots golf balls. weare not really sure how far it goes tho.it goes above the treeline(unoccupied forest) across the pond still on a climb.
i figure at least 3/4 mile or prob more.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

yeah that's it!
