slipped the freakin' clutches in my aw4 for the second time last night. Funny thing is, it was at exactly the same place - the intersection where rt12 and rt2 cross. I think my XJ just hates that I'm trying to move to Fitchburg.

Looked at the place out in Westminster though, if the septic system or whatever it has is working, I may well go for that one instead. An acre of land (even though about half of it is swampy) in a gun-friendly town is pretty tempting.

I wouldn't say "gun friendly" at in any place in Mass, thats just plain wrong. Move to another state if you are looking for that. It is easier to obtain a LTC than Fitchburg.... if you have been a resident for awhile. But friendly? Not even close.

You don't want to move to Dorchester.

Probably worse than Fitchburg.

Yeah... I tried to move to southern NH, but someone got an accepted offer on the one place I liked the look of the very same day I had my showing. And pretty much anything else is way out of sane commuting range. This state is retarded but I'm pretty much stuck here for a few years I think.

The only things I'm worried about with the place in Westminster - I can't figure out what it's got for sewerage (claims private, but I couldn't find a septic field in the dark. I suspect, and fear, a cesspool) and heat/insulation. As long as the well *works* (for long enough for me to save up an ohshit fund to fix it when it breaks) I'm cool with having a well, which it has.

EDIT: oh yeah, what does "a while" mean in your experience? My bet is "a year or five, and no stupid criminal stuff on your record".

Got a call from the person in charge of my unemployment claim. I guess I'll hear something soon. I don't know how good it sounds though. The question I got was "so basically you left your full time employment for part time school?" Ehhhhhhhhh crap? Either way my plan was to actually find work which posed harder than I thought. I didn't think I would actually need unemployment insurance.

I got demoted basically and couldn't take the hours that went along with it, so I really left on my own accord. I've never been fired or laid off.
