i think i'm going to buy my best friend's dad's nikon d60 with a 18-55mm lens and a 55-200mm lens with a 4gb card and bag. not sure exactly how much he wants but it'll be cheap and it's taken maybe 50 pictures total. i found a canon that i liked, but for the $ this nikon will be better.

if you can get a killer deal then take it. i really like canons tho and the sx20is seems like a decent middle ground camera.

hm. I just read some reviews on that and it seems really nice. Not too bad on the pricetag either! Maybe by the time I'm actually ready to buy they'll be on clearence or something
