THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Alright, not going to look at this vehicle until 9 now. Bringing a big flashlight, and will be inspecting the crap out of it.
Not going to slack off on the inspection of it like on the red one.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

keep your eye out for a hover conversion, they install those things on EVERYTHING now!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

My friends were giving me some shit today in class, telling me to make sure that the "Breakdown Package" isn't installed on the vehicle I'm going to go look at, unlike on my red Jeep.

Adam, I'm already looking for stuff to buy for this thing. Damn me.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

focus on the task at hand Mark and be ready to walk away if it's not what you want. FOCUUUUUUS!!!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Surprisingly smooth actually lol.

.

now that i see the video it looked quite cushy. like running a marshmallow for a spring

some jumps i have done had a nice smooth landing, and others blew up my airbag in my face. there is no telling until you land

Yeah I believe it.

Lucky (or unlucky...?) for me I don't have any airbags.

:D

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

It shows a lot more than you might think.

:D
Oh, I'm quite aware. I try not to be blatantly wrong though... oops! :D

(I'd rather search and/or ask a million dumbassed questions than be wrong)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

CARMELO!!!! I found a new mod!!!

I am sure mashmellow suspension works OK but I have an animal cracker 3 and a half link double 1/4 elliptical twizzler suspension with gushers bumpstops in the works that will blow it away:explosion.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

and now, a word from our sponsor, Stay Puft marshmallow Mallow-Ride(r) suspension systems...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I like the ones in the first link but they don't snap into place. From experience the 1/4" drive socket racks that has the socket snap into place don't work, they let the socket go very easily.

These look like they'll work too:

I looked at the Hansen racks, I don't like the thin little posts that the sockets go on. I also don't like how I'm limited to the labels they have on the racks. Something like the 5.5mm or 11/32" sockets won't have a placeholder and I don't want it kicking around loose.
Other than that they are neat. ;)

I think I'm gonna try the Ernst ones, for as cheap as they are I won't be spending an arm and leg on them.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

COOL!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I don't like the ones that really grab onto the sockets... they're too much of a pain to deal with while I'm under the Jeep holding something heavy up with the other hand. But the weak ones made out of plastic annoy me because they drop the sockets all over the place if you look at them funny. I think I might get a bunch of strong-ish magnets and epoxy them into a square plastic tube or something.
