whenever we store spools or dont use them for a bit they always get put in plastic to keep the moisture out.
not sure if you do or not,but i hope that helps.

It is possible it's rusty but I don't think so. I'll look at the spool up close. Anyone know the symptoms of a worn sleeve?

umm, it definately happened...we rolled into his driveway with the thing slammin' the floor, muffler, anything else it would've gotten it's "hands" on.

hell no, its was funny as hell though. i was literally almost in my driveway and either the rear u-joint or the yoke on the 8.25 decided it was time to peace out. i think i need to stop just dumping the clutch all the time, red jeep sees more abuse then black jeep now.

I like this idea, though they're not gonna love it so much when a crew of filthy junkyard crawlers come through their front door
