Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

front crossmembers are for suckers anyways. Why do you think you have a bumper? Cut the crossmember and forget about it! :jester:

beat me to it. my tube and plate bumper does more for the strength of the front end the front crossmember. trimming it to fit the cap would be cool, but at the same time i would not just completely cut out the crossmember.

edit: think hole-saw

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

saturday morning cannot come soon enough.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I'm not so sure you'd have enough room to run the front cap in an XJ.

I can't remember , but I feel like you might hit the front crossmember...?

Maybe there is enough, I don't know without looking.

I've got plenty of room for one and it would only cost $20 more than a rebuild kit that I don't need for the box I want to use plus it's transferable.

Damn, I wish I had some money to buy a mini cooper. There is a sweet one for sale.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

ive run a canon rebel xti and a nikon d40 and i liked the user friendliness of the d40 better

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i dunno. i've heard canon's menu layout is better. in terms of specs they are similar

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i need to go play with them myself.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

My welder spools the wire out kind of choppy sometimes. I was told it might need a new liner, would that cause this problem. It happens regardless of wire speed. It's also not always consistent.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

is the wire rusty in the least bit?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I can recheck but I highly doubt it. I let a friend borrow it too and he put two or three spools through it and said it kept doing it. I thought maybe it could be the tensioner thing but that seems to be doing it's job.
