Grab yourself a good twisted wire wheel for your angle grinder, those things work wonders when just trying to get layers of mud, grease, undercoating, paint, and plain old slime off before actually using a flapwheel or grinding disc. I completely plugged a 24 grit flapwheel with undercoating and grease a while ago before going "screw this bs" and getting a wire wheel. The frame was spotless in less than 5 minutes.Yeah that part of it has sucked a little. With a good grinding disc and some anger it goes quicker. I have all the necessary tools at my disposal as well so it isn't bad.
