THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

registration is every two years, ie registered any day in august 2009 it is good till july 31, 2011. saftey inspection every year for all normal passenger vehicals. emision every year on all 96 and newer vehicals, visual emsion inspection on 95 and older so if they see smoke or hear a leak then they can do a more detailed inspection. wehn failed for safety it must be a imediate repair adn the vehical can only be driven if your are getting it fixed at a shop or if you getting it reinspected and you have 60 days to take care of a emision fail.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

hrm hopefully they won't care about my very minor exhaust leak because it's past the cat (right around the muffler inlet) and is pretty quiet... quieter than my exhaust was when I passed with rust holes all over last year. Amazingly, this thing is way safer now than it was a year ago. I think safety wise I'm pretty much fine.

I'll take the lack of any response on my other question as "no one wants one"... lol figured that'd be the result!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i have a small leak in my muffler and they didnt notice it this year, but a few years back i had a loud exchust on and they guy doing the inspecting kept stuffing a rag up my tail pipe killing the engine took him three times before the shop owner yelded at him to tell him there clearly was no leak

as far as you project goes i think it is a cool idea i have no use for it having a manual yj but i am working on a personal project kinda similar, a handheld device that you push button toggle between it displaying temp and humidity using a pic to do teh calculation. i havent been doing much work with it lately because the jeep and lazynes have been eating up all my free time

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

haha yeah I'm still an autotard... I need to learn to drive standard at some point. sheepjeep (I unfortunately forget your real name) - didn't know you were into electronics of any sort, you writing the code for that in C or assembly or what? humidity would be a neat feature to have on an OHC.

Good luck Colin!

I have no idea what you mean but sure I'm game. As long as it's snowboarding/involves snowboarding I'm up for it!

its a mtn in vermont that doesnt allow snowboarding, i wanna hike up in the AM and ride down, theres onle 2 or 3 other mtns in the US that still dont allow boarding, burton has a contest each year for the best vids of snowboarders on each mtn

its pretty easy, never driven one in my life, bought my jeep drove it home and stalled twice. you get the hang of it quick.

the girlfriend on the other hand. :banghead: tried to teach her. we didnt get 10 feet.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

yeah, I mostly learned once upon a time in my dad's old honda civic, then he totaled it. My last girlfriend thought it was funny because she could drive standard and I couldn't, but it was all in fun so no one got mad over it... and she was happy because she almost got to drive a 2.5 ton army truck across the state because of it (then I got outbid.)
