Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

fully agreed, I have some sick days I need to use this winter... and vacation too probably

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i'm pretty sure wachusett mountain (and maybe a few others) a few years ago did a jeep day, where you would get like $20 tickets if you rolled up in a jeep....

i wish they still did that!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

that tnt system is realllll nice.... ;)

but, why are you bothering with a cat? like I said before, OBD I ftw

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

the insides of my cat went on vacation a couple years ago :)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

When I dropped mine it literally all fell out on the ground. All I did was shake it a few times to get the bigger chunks out. Then welded the empty carcass back in there.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

precisely

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

tech question:
when you hear about seperation between the upper and lower links on a 3 link, is that between the upper link and the center line of the axle?
Separation between the mounting holes of the upper and lower links.
Colin got it. It's between the center of the bolts for the uppers/lowers.
call bill. :)
He has my number.

I'm almost within walking distance to Wachusett Mtn and I almost never go. The brewery however... :D

I'm not even going to respond if this starts an argument, but Travis, I'm surprised at that comment man. :( Run the cat and be done with it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

My cat is in surprisingly good shape considering it seems to be the original factory one... the rest of my exhaust rusted off and got replaced this spring.

are old vehicles only required to re-register and/or re-inspect every two years in Mass or something? I spent 20min on hold with the RMV today only to be told to bug off because my plates were good through '10, but I could have sworn I have to do one or the other this year.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Inspection every year (Safety every year, Emissions every other).

Registration is every other year I believe.

If you have a 95- XJ, emissions is a visual inspection now.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Plates are good for two years, vehicle inspection is every year.

Edit: Colin is to quick.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

nice. I have a 96 so I get unlucky there, but now I just need to remember to get my inspection done tonight.

I'm working on an idea for a small module to install that will add a pushbutton and some indicators to the gauge cluster, and let people watch their coolant/tranny-in/tranny-out temps all on the OEM gauge, anyone have input on this? stupid idea or would you want one? I need to price out parts but I'd be willing to do a group buy on the parts and build them at cost for the first few, though if you guys think this is an interesting idea I might become a vendor and see how things go.

EDIT: cost for PCBs and parts will likely come to around $30-40 per unit, plus plumbing for the tranny lines and the sensors.
