yeah i was just looking at that. and I was thinking also... my problem with building shit is I find it too easy to justify spending more. for example. I'd probably end up with a detroit over the lock right, figuring "well it's only $200 more to have the full case detroit over a lunchbox locker...and now's the time to do it if i'm gonna...eh XXXX it, yeah we'll get the detroit" :laugh3:

that's pretty much how my 44 build went...

well im guessing it's too late

but i broke my detroit

and never broke my lock-rite

but when you do break half of your detroit i'll have a good half chillin here for you

i would never even consider anything except spools. the less moving parts the better.

yeah. well, my main reasoning for doing the detroit was I got it used for less than the cost of a new aussie. we'll see how it goes, and i'll be sure to get in touch with you if half of it explodes

i would never even consider anything except spools. the less moving parts the better.

the top few people who kick my ass in rcrocs have selectables.

but there are also some people who's asses i kick that have selectables. if they know when to use them they come in handy. but not every type of wheeling is trying to get around these stupid little cones

the detroit has about 26.3 moving parts

lock right has 3

i never liked the thought of how a lock right works, but i can't complain about how it's holdin up

I know. That's part of the reason why I made sure I was going to be running all alloy stuff... If it does blow up I'll probably end up getting an OX and then buying flanges or something.

it took 7 broken shafts to break mine lol.

and eahc break occured from november-february. never broken anything else in my front axle for the years before that or the year after.

that winter sucked
