THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Carmelo's dana 60 budget is as follows:

Dana 60: $150-200
Truss: $10
Welding Labor: ask someone nicely
Gears: steal

Then I'll sell my current setup so... in total it should cost -$2,732

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Wow I dont think I could spend that much on axles without just buying new or already done.
If he follows that exactly he'll have more into his front D44 than I'll have into both my D60s. I do however see him loosing some stuff on the list to bring the cost down (like the fancy brackets and labor).
Already done isn't any fun, opening boxes of new parts and building them is the best part!

WHOOO ARB is going to warranty my OME springs! should be here at the beginning of next week. THe first guy I had talked to in the ARB tech department was breaking my balls about the springs being "abused" but he never returned any of my emails over hte past 2 weeks so I called again, got a different guy, and he was a lot cooler and is sending them out this afternoon, on goodwill! Apparently the OME springs are supposed to be able to last a long time doing like 90% offroad stuff in the outback in Austrailia so 95% street in Boston and them frowning like that is a.o.k in his book for replacements!

wooohooooo!

You are correct it is fun but right now I have way too many projects to the point where I dont have fun anymore. Thats why Im liquidating all my stuff down. I have bought built XJs for less, but I'm also the type that will buy a whole vehicle for the axle and then sell all the rest so I dont have to pay or spend alot on it.
