E
They are all going to vary depending on what it came out from underneath.

SRW is SRW they are 67 and 1/2 inches WMS but I'm not interested in WMS. I need to know what the distance is from backing plate to backing plate.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

why do you want to know what the measurement for the inside of the drum is? and srw 14 bolts vary in withs as they were under many things used for alot of diff things, also you want full float or semi float

No its not. Read what Rob typed above this, he is correct.

Wheeling tomorrow!!!

All I had to do today was pack up, grease everything, and check fluids. Oh, and replace that crappy pinion seal.

I also swapped in my old seats as I wasn't a fan of the ZJ seats anymore. Anyone want the full set for $80? I'll put em up for sale...

The drums are much bigger than on my rear 60 but the overall width is the same. I want to know if I can use one in the rear with just relocating the perches. Alot of people say it will not work(the springs on the 60 are about an inch away from the backing plates as it is. But I have heard some people have done it. I'm not sure what I want to do in the rear, 14 bolt or just bore the spindles of the 60 and put in a detroit and run 1.5" 35 spline shafts. Also I may stand corrected but atleast 73-87 wms widths are the same on the 14 bolts for SRW. Vans are wider and are the exception but other than that they are the same wms width. You can count the newer 14 bolts but usually when we all refer to a 14 bolt it's the 73-87 ones. I can say in pretty good confidence(dont quote me though) that a 3/4 ton srw 14 bolt will fit in K10s,blazers and suburbans as direct bolt in's. K30s have the same wms but different spring perch and shock mount locations as the rear frames are some what different.

Why don't you like them anymore?

So when I took my drum off, the self adjuster cable rusted and snapped, causing the self adjuster and star to fall off. The weird things is, I'm about 93.897% sure that I put that in brand new last April.
