THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

hahaha wtf how did I miss this... I just accidentally bought the front shaft out of a manual instead of an automatic I think. I need to not be so focused on getting the part out when I'm at the JY. Anyone need a spare if I did?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

dibs, what did you pay for it?

yeah it's pretty bs, at least the guy was nice and did not charge a second time when I couldn't get the damn bolts out with my crappy wrench the first time. Bought a set of Craftsman wrenches, never looking back, damn chinese bargain basement "wrenches".

5spd - number is 774 922 2854

Unfortunately there really isn't much difference between the two nowadays. Seriously, it is sad.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I did notice they're pressed rather than being machined out (for the contact surfaces anyways) now, but it worked for me... the crappy 8mm wrench I had before just rounded the points on the CV yoke bolts, the Craftsman one got the job done. My micro drivers break repeatedly but usually it's because I'm putting way more torque then you're supposed to on them.

EDIT haha Bob yeah that too.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

yeah there is, when you break craftmans chinese wrenches they give you free ones :spin1:
The point is they shouldn't break.
I've got my father's old ones from "back in the day" when they were made in the USA, those will take a heck of a lot more beating than the ones I've bought recently (most of which have already been replaced at least once).
Lay them side by side and you can tell the difference.

I believe they're 5/16"...and I'm out of work in an hour, I'll send ya a picture

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Odd, I tried a 5/16 and it didn't fit... maybe I'm an idiot. It's happened before.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread
