Actually I took down the old junk and the measurements tonight. I think I got it worked out. It's stupid simple and I don't understand why it didn't come like this from the factory.
Once the rod ends get here I'll double check the measurements and make a new bracket for the t-case side. Rather than weld/cut the old one up I think I might just start over and make a new ONE. I think it'll be easier that way.

just one? i think you oughta do 2, and keep the prettier of the two for yourself

out to play with the mj.
wife got home last night and told me the jeep was "making a noise". uh-ohs.
so this morning, i went to go start it.
the starter grinded the first three attempts, then once it caught, it had a weird whirring noise that was coming from the starer/flywheel area.
im thinking the starter is on its way out, or at least the solenoid isnt retracting the starter gear and is slightly hitting the flywheel. i hope.

I'm going to Murphy's Taproom tonight after work, the back of my jeep is presently full of junk and driveshafts and springs but if the stuff you got will fit in the back seat, I'll pick it up for you. Do I need to pay for it (i.e. trip to the ATM) or did you already cover that?

I guess I could put the back seat down, think they'd fit that way? I'm not sure the windshield will fit but I suspect the doors will.
