I had 31" truxus back in the day. they were a pretty decent tire but rocks took chunks out of the sidewall pretty easily it seemed. Maybe it was just me, Idk. They did seem to be a good compromise between street and trail though. Good in snow, etc. Claws on the other hand aren't so great in snow. At least according to Rob haha

my claws were extremely worn to, with that being said they did really good going forward but didnt have alot of sidebite

I think we should setup a work party at Marks to help him get his jeep drivable so he'll actually come wheeling. Once Travis's and Bill's jeeps are done, we could all go down and pound it out in a day.

I'm tired of seeing his jeep with a sad face in the backyard.

I've mentioned it before and I'll say it again, once mine is complete I'll go anywhere to help anyone (within reason of course) for food/drink. :)

On that note, I'm pumped at the way the back end is coming out.
I'll get a camera battery later today so that I can snap some pictures for ya'll.

does anybody have any boxes kicking around i can use for moving shit? one of my roommates is moving out today and it made me realize i ought to pack my shit up soon, i have to move basically most of hte stuff by this weekend. also.... anyone want to lend a hand? i'll pay in beer!:wantyou:

I might have some - let me check when I get home. We just did some cleanup so most of them might be chopped up already.

I'm also up for a work party, though I will not be available one day of the weekend because I'll be installing my springs... Either that, or I'll be camping up at Greenfield State Park in NH for a while (stop by for a few beers or something if that happens), I'm not too sure yet.

oh and to be put out as common knowledge, I'm ordering the reamer for 1 ton ends tomorrow, so I'll have it available to use to anyone in need henceforth :)

OH!! and good news, Tony from Hoyt 4x4 called me yesterday, he spent his weekend calling other Superior dealers and found someone with 3 short side inners in stock, so he talked them into shipping one to me, I'll have it this week! :thumbup: to Tony, nice guy and A) gave me a super good deal, and B) helped me out big time with using his weekend to call around and get the axle. He could have just sat back and said "Superior told me they don't know when they'll have their shipment, I'll get back to ya when I hear from them." butttt he didn't, so I'll be able to assemble that junk this week :) :party:
