I'm over near WPI (park/institute crossing) - hoping to move soon, looking at buying a fixer-upper house (to go with the fixer-upper XJ); looked at a place in Spencer yesterday.

ah neat. You ever go to sams pull-a-part down on granite street? I go there almost weekly these days, usually early on Saturdays. Sadly their stock of XJs was rather depleted last time I was there, only about half a dozen instead of the usual two dozen or so.

never been to sams. i have been to standard quite a bit, i picked up a driveshaft last friday from them. also amherst oakham in oakham has a ton of xjs.
you going anytime soon?

Yeah, I plan on a trip early Saturday... gotta pick up a pair of ZJ front springs, new driver door latch mech, pre-97 center console trim, rear wiper arm, and some other stuff I forget. This is all assuming I'm not still in NH and hung over when 6am rolls around, of course.
EDIT: and a new drivers seat, if I see one that strikes my fancy

I'm looking for grey cloth/leather first and foremost (I'm a picky asshat that way), what condition are they in though?
also may grab an air tank if I can find one stuck to a random truck somewhere... don't feel like paying 50 bucks for one if I don't have to.

fyi at Hollands wednesday they had quite a few xj's on the lot. three at the gate with the cfc sticker(all97+),also about four tj's and another wagoneer was in the back.
