Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i need everyones help so i dont get to stupid on the 23rd, i need to make the crawl this year

how hilarious (and bad) would it be if *I* made it and you didn't!! :confused1

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

wjs have a different bolt pattern than xjs and that d44 has an aluminium housing that can crack really easily
brainfart... it was a ZJ. Got my new wheels, turns out she had a d35 anyways so it was pretty moot. In other news, I wish I brought an air wrench + compressor, because some of those lugs were on there pretty damn tight.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Rob - yep disk brakes in the back, I considered asking but figured it was gonna take way too long to do and I didn't have the tools/materials handy. It had an I6 in it too :( another one bites the dust, she already signed the paperwork for it and everything or I would have tried to convince her to do something with it.

EDIT: cmelo, OMG WTF

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

even if you weren't graduating you would have more pressing issues. ;)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Why does the UPS truck keeping coming to my house to drop off boxes for everyone in my family except for my sliders!?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

well, just so ya know what your looking for, my JCR sliders came in a box about 4" thick 2ft by 5ft. :laugh3:

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

that run should be bannanas!

holy hell i'm done with the day of hell: history quiz on a book i didnt have time to read, 14 minute huge senior design project background research presentation in front of lots of faculty and a video camera to go along with the 27 page paper, and then another 8 minute presentation for mechanical engineering design for our project

PHEW thats over with! now all i have to do is have a make up quiz tomorrow morning for history of boston on a walking tour i didnt do, have my mechanical engineering design final exam tomorrow afternoon, and i'm free for hte weekend!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I got around to snapping a photo of how my jeep is currently sitting, back on the road bitchezzzzzz! I had to drive my bike home today since the rear axle thing snapped in half so I either need to dump some money into it to still have a junk bike, maybe turn it into a fixed gear since i only use 1 gear anyways, or ditch it and get a mountain bike. suggestions?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

wow that is way too pretty. but my vote is make it a fixie. if you need suggestions on parts let me know. i worked at a bike shop for like 5 years...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

yeah i'm leaning towards a fixie since it'll still be my main city transportation, and if i'm going to buy a mountain bike it will probably be at least a decent one, not a $150 huffy from target. What kind of parts / how expensive will it be to make a fixie? i currently have 27x1.25" wheels which apparently is a pretty odd size. i already know what ratio i more or less want to keep it at, since i'm always in 4th gear on this now anyways

could i keep the front sprocket and make it a 2 gear fixie? :D hmmmmm

the offending part:
