So I was at home today and I was using the big Jeep to do a few errands. The third time out, my Jeep decided to give me a little present.

I haven't taken it all apart yet, but I know at least the adjuster start fell off one of the rear drums. It was sweet when I all of a sudden had no more brakes. Luckily I was already going pretty slow when it happened.

Thats good to hear. That was a good axle, it never gave me problems.

Ha, yes I do.
I think it was getting back at me for offending it before I left. I was telling my dad it smelled like something took a sh*t inside, and then died. My dad was telling me to just sell it or scrap it. I think I hurt its feelings when I didn't defend it's honor.

Every time I tell Colin I want to scrap it, he yells at me and says he won't let me scrap it. (not like he could stop me if he tried )

Oh, and my Jeep has no reason to get mad at me for lack of use, that's its own fault. I'm spend more time fixing it than driving it, and whne I finally get it driving again, something else goes wrong.

My Dad found a FSJ rotting away in some guy's back yard right down the stret where i rescued mine from. I think we're going to offer him a couple hundred to get it out of his yard and take the drive-train from it for my uncles YJ. Don't most of them come with D44's and a 360?

I think I found part of your problem, your calling it a him when obviously it acts like a chic and if you bring it to my house I guarantee I can have it all apart in 1 day.

too bad ya already had the subs. although my box wouldn't fit, i'd have sold you 2 polk 12"s fo cheep! thats sweet though, good luck with installing and have fun !!

well my subs didnt fit, i went with 2 10" memphis in a shallow mount box, i lost about 1.25" of seat but i can live with it. I spent so much time at the speed shop/stereo store i didnt have time to put it all together yet...tomorrow beer and wiring will commence cuz im way less stressed about wires when theres beer in me haha

what scares me about this thread is that when i first signed up on , i respected the people with high post counts because i thought they really knew what they were talking about. Thanks to this thread travis has well over 5k posts and it absolutely terrifies me that people who are new to XJs are actually listening to him.

I just got back to my dorm, and I saw my ex-girlfriend as I was going to move my car to a non-metered spot. She said hi to me, I said hi for a minute or so, and when I went to go pull out of my spot, I looked in my mirrors to see if anyone was coming, and I noticed her like wrapped in the arms of her new BF like making out with him. I really think she was hoping I would have noticed that.

Engine in the 2 door is acting weird. On the highway if I'm holding it at a constant speed, every so often it very lightly hesitates, but I have been noticing it.

Try cleaning out the throttle body and all the sensors in it. That should help smooth idle and help throttle stay smooth too! And it's free!
