i gotta vent.
what a day, simple stuff became a PITA, first off ujoints, ruined the first set i put in and my old drive shaft, the ears at the axle end were a little messed up from contact with rocks, i still tried to install the joint but it wound up ruining the ujount and shaft wich i the shaft was junk anyways, so went back to the parts store got 2 more ujoints and used a d35 driveshaft i had layin around, now that and a yj yoke dosnt make for a whole lot of slip room but it seems to be fine, now after that it was time for frt lockrite install, everything came out quick, and locker went in quick, then it came time to put carrier back into case, i managed to snap a carrier bolt so i stole one from the green jeep, got everything back together and theres a little bit of play with the r&p, called bill and talked about it, it should be ok, if not ill pull off a colin, cant wait to get shafts tomorow so i can test out the locker
I'm goin up to the fairgrounds to setup for the DWE show tomorrow :woohoo:
