THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

no thank you.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Actually a 1200 Sporty is not big and only weighs about 600lbs. I learned how to ride on one and there easy to ride. As far as slow my last Harley I built was quite fast considering to of my buddies could not keep up on there rice rockets but I think the driver has something to do with that too.
hm, that's not tooooo bad. rider does have a lot to do with it... i just don't really like the style of a harley. i'd rather have more control than less.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

a big, heavy, loud, slow, POS that's too much bike to learn on and not what i want? you sir, can bite me. i feel probably as strongly against harleys as you feel for them, so this is a mute point.
It's my brother's first bike, take it easy an use common sense.
this bike is a suzuki sv650 and has a 650cc vtwin... it's not a crotch rocket... i've ridden one before and they're comfortable, reliable, and cheap enough... i want a ducati 696 but they're too expensive to justify right now, especially for a first bike.
So you'd rather a piece of Asian plastic junk over American steel?
Thanks! I typed it quick and didn't pro-read like I should/always do.

The 1200C is probably faster than my buddies 600RR, at least it seems it watching them accelerate.
anthony, if you want a bike, buy my 1975 harley sportster
How much?

I'd rather have the low gargle of the twin than the sound of a weed-whacker.

Eh, enough on bikes, I'm done with dinner and headed back to the garage to work on a JEEP! ;)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Travis, when do you want to fix those blinkers?
i could help you out any day after four this week.

Thursday would work great for me. I'll be leaving work at 4:30 I believe, then could go home, change, and head to your house if you'd like. Did you get your phone fixed yet? I could give ya a call when I'm heading over. Or, just call me when you leave work and we'll finalize things :) thanks sir!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

as far as the bikes go, I got my honda CX500 for free, so I'm not complaining heh. But, what I would really like is a Honda Superhawk. 996 v-twin, and it's a honda so it'll run forever. they're a good bridge between a harley(i LOVE how the things sound, also a torque monster) and a crotch rocket(it'll handle great) I think the combo of gobs of torque, thank you big v-twin, and awesome chassis/suspension would make it be a really fun bike to ride nice windy roads on. Idk. to each his own, but that's what I really want :)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Anthony why not get a nice Buell then? Those things kick ass and have great brakes, first ride on one I did an endo with 2 fingers on the front lever. I flew around an airport runway and had perma-grin the whole time. God I miss my bikes, but thats what kids will do to ya.

I wish I could go out to the garage and work on Jeep but theres nothing there right now but when it stops raining the 78' Ford goes in to finish the painting.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Holy crap my Honcho is Loud now. The exhaust looks good but it is LOUD. When I smash these mufflers some long stock ones are going in for sure.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I only see that as a problem if you forgot something, otherwise its just great!

and that be my problem, it amazes me how such a big company can ship stuff so fast, ive orderd atleast a dozen times from then from tire deflators to winches and never had a issue

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

im lookin to get on one of the RTI ramps to see how the rear suspention on my jeep works with new shackles and shocks, does alot better on the trails

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

sweetness. I'll be armed with camera, batteries, and memory cards so don't be shy, call/text/scream at me to come take pics. That goes for anyone goin to the show

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread
