THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

What do you guys think about this price?

Yellow '01 XJ, looks mint from the pics. 82K, 4 door Sport with alloy rims. $5,500
Catch: its in FL, so there is no rust, and its 2wd.

5500 for a 2 wheel drive XJ?? Uhm, no.

Ya, I would talk the person down on the price some.

But look at it this way, I know that there is no way this XJ has been offroad. I also have all the parts to swap it to a 4wd. It would be a street only XJ as well.

I'm 99% probably not going to get it. I just did a search and out of the 4 yellow XJ's and 1 amber XJ's (like adam's), 2 of the yellow were 2wd, and the orange was 2wd as well.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

mark, if it's not manual, definitely no.

even still. no.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

If you get an Amber Fire XJ I will kill you!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

nah...with Mark's bad luck his XJ will end up killing him...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

You going to do the mud bog in your jeep?? Do you know which day it is?? I'll probably just go and hang around and drink like a redneck. Maybe I'll enter the quad in the mud bog....

I will definitely mud bog in my Jeep. I don't care about Mud on it so I'm totally down. I don't like mud that much if it were on a trail but when it's a competition that adds a whole other dynamic to it. Tomorrow I drop my Honcho off for exhaust and it should be ready for wednesday.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

so i was doin some work on the new xj and found something rather scary. the guy one of the battery wires was loose and would act up sometimes. so i start fiddling with things, i move the wire and notice the clamp is nice and tight. the i realize the whole post itself on the battery is moving. at this point i start to snicker only to finally realize theres a nice quarter sized hole next to it and i can cleary see fluid moving inside it. SWEET!!!

ive already swapped in another set of pads i had and greased everything. tomorrow brings an oil change, new PS hoses, new battery and terminals, and a tune-up. this will put the xj in perfect running driving shpae for now.

future upgrades include:
97+ console
pistol grip shifter
roadrunner beep-beep horn
new hatch and hood
blacked out wheels
blacked out nose with black flames
gauge cluster swap
seat covers

at some point upgrades include:
lowered 2"
stroker
forced induction
rubicon wheels with lowpro tires

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I have an itch to fix my fuel gauge on my Honcho. I really doubt the PO properly diagnosed why it wasn't working and I think I can fix it. Now it's dark and tomorrow morning i'm going to be busy.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread
