i jsut had a terrible/awesome idea. once the 1tons go in the black jeep, id have a sweet set of axles to swap into this new jeep. but i guess that would defeat the purpose of it being a DD.

Okay I think I have this driveshaft situation almost figured out. I have it down to two options.
Option 1)
Re-route exhaust and run the J20 drive shaft. I have no idea how thick the J20s driveshaft it is but it is definitely larger in diameter. Also I have to have my exhaust rerouted no matter what eventually.
Option 2)
Lengthen a XJ shaft to the length I need it. I believe XJ shaft are .120 wall tubing? Also with it being a CV shaft I can point my pinion up a bit to help keep it out of the rocks and risk busting another shaft in half. Also this option is possibly free.

just wait until you have FEA with Hashemi next semester! I've already had to make a foam board model (functioning, btw) of a gym machine. And we've had 2 classes so far. ewwwww

it's definitely PS'd... look at the shadow of the old taurus or sable in the background and look at this. doesn't match at all. not to mention the whole front end of whatever the heck it is looks tipped along the roll axis of the vehicle. (side to side)Are you sure that's a photochop?

That sounds like a really good deal, though. I paid 1400 for my 95 a few years ago with i think 138k on the clock, and (at the time :doh it was mint. If you end up passing on that though, let me know. I would really like to get something that's rot-cancer free...
