i will no longer be goin to NACfest. i pretty much just gave up tryin to get the jeep ready. theres too much stuff that needs to be done, im not really the type to jsut throw things together. Id much rather pimp out the d30 and do the wj swap and make it all just plain badass. on top of that, i gotta finish the rear bumper, gas skid, ruffstuff covers, and some other odds & ends. i know if i try and slap a wj swap together in 2 days, itll be about as good as my re-welded rusty's TB bracket is now

My Jeep can't even make it 1 1/2 hours to Ross's house without having something go wrong, and I didn't even do any wheeling. I don't see an 8 hour drive, 3 days of wheeling, then an 8 hour return drive as possible.
Plus I never got my front bumper finished so I have no front recovery points. Spent a lot of time doing I don't even know what, and replacing the steering box we stripped out. (Notice I said WE Colin, not you!)
As cool as it would be to go, there's just too many things that I would need to get done in 2 days

on my ride into work today i saw a little bird flying across the road, and instead of flying away like they usually do it got NAILED by the mercedes in front of me, sending feathers everywhere. i was laughing so hard i was almost in tears!

Front Shafts (760's) (Tuedsay)
DONE trim fenders
DONE bumpstop
rear driveshaft (Tuesday)
Gas tank skid (Monday)

install and adjust rock krawler control arms DONE

install new edelbrock shocks FRONT'S DONE

LCA skids DONE

install new D30 seals DONE

anyone know where i can get a driveshaft shortened and balanced in the ma/nh area?
im gonna throw in the t-case in the 2wd mj and do the axle in a few weeks, but i need to make it drivable on the cheap.
