I vow to do the WJ swap on the D30 before I buy any parts or start modifying the housing of the HP60. I've already bought all the parts, I just need tube and to swap everything up and fab an axle TB mount.

what are you selling it for, colin?

i'd be interested to see if anyone else had the same issue with the UCA bushing that you are having... it would answer whether or not the mount was straight on the axle.

i'll have plenty of time, that's for sure. $ is what i need.

Red= 3"x3" 0.25" wall tube, Cut and fitted to the contour of the housing
Blue=2"x4" 0.25" wall rect tube
Green= End of center section, tubes welded 360*, around 2" removed from DS leaf mount
Yellow= Coil buckets

i didnt buy it.. it was the PO of my new axle's stuff. when i bought it i got a set of rotors and one hub bearing from an 89 axle. thing is he must have bought the wrong stuff since he not only said it was from a 93, it isnt vacuum disco either

IIRC, there were 3 generations of rotor/unit bearing combos...

84-91
91-99.5
99.5+

Im surprised nobody gave mudduck crap for saying a frame off resto on an xj.


Boy I hope nitrogen doesnt explode because thats what I use to put out any flames inside the lead closures I work on.

I hope I can work on some stuff this weekend, I'll be pissed if it rains.

Yeah I know I was being funny because I would have been blown up about 12 years ago. I carry around a nitrogen filled tank that I use in case the paper inside the lead closure Im soldering happens to catch fire, we pump it in to smother it. I also get to use acetylene, hydrogen, helium, propane, & mapp gas just for fun.

Oh and stop blaming your DW on me.
