MMMMM, Pinion breaks....

no pinion brakes, the disc are on the axle shaft at the diff, still get great braking as there a 2:1 reduction at the hubs, due to that alot of em regear to like 2.80 in the diffs

yeah it does, but the 12 hrs over sure will be nice next thurs, ive been workin 50+ hr weeks for the past month, i could of stayed through tonite bit there was no way i was gonna pull off a 15 hr day

Hey Ross and Colin, you guys remember how much play there was in my mechanical fan?

This little guy does the same thing.

I started the Jeep, knocking was present. I shut it off, took off the belt, then started the Jeep, no knocking.

i saw that, its pretty cool but it needs a fan shroud badly. something wrong wiht your cooling system mark?

and from the preponderance of 'cooling issue' threads, and 'hood vent' threads, and 'radiator upgrade' threads on and other XJ forums, i have concluded that i am not alone...

Water pump is probably going to be replaced, which means the entire system is getting overhauled/replaced. Radiator has so much crap in it I can open the draincock and it wont drip a single bit of fluid.

Ask Colin, driving to get his bearings, my Jeep runs at the notch above 210.
