yayyy

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Kyle why dont you unbolt that small piece of exhaust left, that way you can use new bolts. Then it'll be easier to weld and put back on. It'll also be easier if you need to replace it later, just a thought.

Oh and I think I could beat Travis unless his looks worse then this.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Idk Jim...close call. haha... I've got the missing corner light, front fender's just as bad, front door the same ish, my rear door has been hit harder it looks like, main thing where you win is your roof looks worse off. My passenger side a-pillar got it pretty good, though. Both my quarters were caved in way worse than your's looks in that pic...ALSO, do realize that all the dents on mine were put there while it was my DD...that's gotta count for something :gee: call it a draw maybe? hahah

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Lets each snap pics of the "frame rails" on our rigs, that can be the tie breaker. Ask colin how the one on my driver's side looks.... trails to challenge rigs on 36s + when I had 31s, open/open and a winch, with my friend Scott saying "Screw it, you didn't just hang a thousand bucks off the front of your jeep to not use it!! Get in that thing and wheel it!" haha... poor thing got dragged through the trail jussst a couple spots. :D

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

It was on 33s and a quick 2 1/2day budget build to go to RC. Heres one of part of the rails which were pretty good except in a few spots, rockers and floor junk and pass. side worse.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

heheh. yeah, it looked like a roll. your doors look pretty mint in that picture, actually. Mine are way worse off. I think mine has all but rolled/flopped...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

that's because the ninja trees catch and thrash the body before it has a chance to actually go over :D :D haha

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i'd rather have a tree sneak up on me than flop or roll though, but that may just be me

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

yeah... I mean, when it's a big open area I tried to be more "cautious", if you could call it that. Like I say, because it was my DD and only vehicle. Coming home with a caved in roof/smashed windshield/no side glass, would NOT have gone over well with the parents. Now that it isn't the DD I'm not worried about it really, but since I'm planning to do the cage, I'll be pretty pissed if I manage to roll it before then lol

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

my lawnmower seems to be blowing oil. :(

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

speaking of lawnmowers, i jsut welded a piece of 1/8" on the outside of the mower deck. years of use and rocks was finally starting to put holes through the sides. hardware store even had john deere yellow spray paint, maybe ill give the whole thing a fresh coat.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

So0o0o0..

I guess I ought to do a compression check before I go looking for a new engine. The poor cylinder compression could be due to bad valves. I hope that's what it is. It did always have a tick to it. So a wet then dry compression check should tell whether it's the top or bottom end that needs work. I'm hoping best case scenario it's a dead lifter or something? Then I can just buy a cam & lifter set. I don't know too much about engines though.
