Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

so whats ur plan with narrowing the 44?

cool!! a subject!! haha. Well, today here I researched a bunch of different widths and whatnot, I'll go home and see what I think of different combinations and options. Use a wheelspacer on the rear axle? ok to use up to 2"? worth killing those bearings to have the nice width? whats the best compromise?

...I got a lot to mull over. and usually i do that better when I'm staring at the jeep, than when Im staring at a computer screen. :greensmok

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i went to airgas today and ordered some Ni99 rod. i forsee trusses and center sections in my future

ohhhh, boy oh boy!! I might enlist you in a truss making endeavor sometime!! They look cool... :)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Travis post #3943 yayy.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

that's a good point. I'm a huge fan of stability though, I usually manage to get myself in bad situations where CoG down low is defffinitely your friend... low n wideee. thats why I'm liking the idea of keeping the 44 FW or close to it, and using spacers on the rear...that combined with only 4.5" lift on 36s should make for a pretty stable rig.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

bobs here. ¿ hehe

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

u could always jsut run the front at stock width, and jsut use some 1" spacers out back. that would be fine to run and should be a good compromise of width, stability, stain on rear wheel bearings, turing radius, and such

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I do have a full page, back on like 346 or something like that. I'll try n find it hah

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

and ross, yeah. That's not a terrible idea. maybe some spidertrax 1.25" spacers on the rear, and the front at full width...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

think so? i guess that's possible...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

BUT, if your gunna go threw the trouble of trussing it and cutting & turning the c's, then you might as well narrow the thing to waggy inners most likely and not run rear spacers
