Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

c'monnn, you're still viewin the thread, I seeeeee youuuuu

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

that's always possible... what a loser! :laugh3:

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

hmm, maybe if i make it seem not so pointless to post, he will...

what's the widest you can do for a wheel spacer on a *rear* axle, do you think? I've been thinking I'd like to just keep it all wider, cause i love stability... comments? I posted in my build thread, but we'll see what the talkative crew has to say

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

noo, colin leftttt. hahah

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

question still stands tho, you two.

2" probably. hard to say. you'll be pwning bearings i bet, though

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

yeah, not so bad on the rear though, i would think?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Bill says time for a rear axle hunt. I don't like that idea. lol

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I mean, I *do*, obviously. but $ wise... no no no. not now. I'm currently researching options as far as narrowing the front goes... I would do waggy width, but then the driver side tube is pretty short, and the brackets would end up interfering with the center chunk's casting. If I did a waggy width passenger side and stock ford driver's, its only actually getting shortened by a little under 2". Which would put the front axle at about 65" WMS and the rear a bit under 61"... which is why I was considering the 2" spacers, would make sense, right?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

yeah x2 on the bearings. try to look up the spec sheets from timken?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

what spec sheets might you speak of?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Hmm... if I used a EB passenger with f150 driver, I'd be at a good WMS but the pinion would be pretty offset.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

who wants to crunch numbazzzzz with meee? lol. Anthony... we're gonna be doing this alot Sunday, fair warning. hahah

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

eff laundry

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

yeah. eff laundry is right. get your engineerin thinkin cap on dood! lol

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

it's not that hard... as long as you have it all laid out efficiently

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Yeah. well, I ought to have the axle bare before Sunday, so if you want we can look at some possibilities then...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

yeah. inner C's off too?
