THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Anthony I was only bustin ya. Go ahead and post away I forgot my laptop at work, so I had to use my ipod to go online(only 3.5" screen).

I think when I got my last snake he was already at least 3', when I got rid of him he was betwn 13-15' long, too hard to get him to stay straight. I got rid of him because he was to much to deal with. He had his own room in my office, he would get stuck in my truck on the way to vets, he ate a bit and was starting to be a pain to take out of the tub. It was however quite fun to see big macho guys shrink and turn white when they would see him, it made me laugh.

Colin, i just got 2 ZJ seats. Do any of the bolts line up with the XJ seats? how did you mount yours

For the passenger side, I just used some 1/8" 1x1 angle iron and drilled hoes to line up the front studs and then the holes for the front part of the bracket. One of the rear studs lines up in the back (closest to the tranny hump). 3 out of 4 ain't bad to me :D

Drivers side, I swapped a 97+ base (ZJ power base wouldn't fit, tranny hump in the way) and am now in the process of making a bracket to match those holes to the studs. One of the rear studs lines up no problem. Again, 3 out of 4 ain't bad.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I realized I never answered you before. I need to replace the steering box, check the tracbar, align it so the wheel is somewhat straight, put the headlight sockets and wiring back into the front clip, then put that back on the Jeep, and dig out my old bumper and put that on, so I have a bumper.

jsut toss another box in and some stickers on the front that resemable headlights and hit the road.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

yeahh!! sticker headlights FTW! :)

Masking tape looks good when at speed :laugh3:

that's good cuz i wasn't about to change my ways :moon:

that's pretty sweet. but huge. i'm hoping mitch doesn't get unruly large, but he's already big enough to scare a fair number of people.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

So, I went to put the spacers in that come with the C-rok plates, and the bottom one slid in perfectly fine, but the other 2 don't go in. I remember it saying drilling was needed (I just came in to look for the directions) but I wonder why 1 slides into the frame fine, but the other 2 dont?

I think ball pythons only get like 5' or so when they're full grown. My ball python was right around 5 feet when he died, and he was like 15 years old.

you did say the bolts were loose, they could of hollowed out the holes a bit, but i didnt get spacers for my brace(it was used) and we didnt use em on my friends jeep, i dont know how important they are

The bolts were loose on the red Jeep, I'm working on the big green one right now. These had no play at all in them.

They are crush sleeve/spacers that go in between the frame rails. What I noticed is that the steering box bolts are about 10 times smaller than the holes they actually go into. These spacers go in and close up that hole, so they don't have any chance of moving around.

Oh, and I noticed that both sides of my bumper mounts on my unibody are slightly bent.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i'm being more and more interested in the new goodyear MTRs with the kevlar sidewalls for when I bump it up to 33s. there's not much info about them yet but as i read more they seem more and more what i'm looking for. kevlar sidewalls are a good thing for me too, seeing how i've had 5 sidwalls cut by unnamed vandals in the past month too
