I know a guy (my club's ex-president) who runs 37" Baja Claws on D44s (both LPs) in his CJ-8. Broken a couple stock front shafts (stubs and inners) and wheels it pretty hard from what I've seen. I don't think he's ever broken a rear shaft? Can't remember. He's slowly upgrading to alloys in the front.

I'd say 37s are definitely the limit on a D44 though.

Also, this is just my opinion :D

picked up another 32" bfg mud to match the tire that was slashed this afternoon for the cost of returning a 2 year old keg. thanks marty!

Nice! The comanche should be ready tomorrow! Adam came down and helped me with the exhaust. I definitely would not have gotten that pipe out in the time he did. I would have had to stop to punch things every five minutes. Punching- Although very awesome is not very productive. I'll have the MC bench bled and my rears adjust and then i'll bleed the rest of the brakes and BAM! Done.

So... I looked up the b.o.m. on the hp 44 i picked up last night for $100 and it is indeed a 77 with welded wedges :) woo hoo!
