colin, i looked at the dimensions on JCR's site...

for OTK, i think you can just ream it backwards and stop when the taper on the bottom meets the original large dia... make sense?

so i found myself a stack of work. engienering change orders - nothing special but at least something to do. it's sitting upstairs in the cubicle of one of the CM guys. the stack is a solid foot high of paperwork to do, and there is even money and a charge number to use, but the charge number hasn't been approved so i can't charge my time to it. so here i am, twiddling my tumbs. yay government waste!

Ok sounds good. Are they a special deal or something?

When I get the axle (prob next week) I'm going to get measurements and check with my local parts guy. He's usually really good with that kind of stuff.

If by special deal you mean a seal for a 32 year old truck that most part stores have never even heard of, then yes.
