Haha excellent.

Should be the 25th of this month if all goes as planned.

I'm going to call Liza back today to confirm the pickup of it, and then order some gears and whatnot this weekend. I also have to figure out the steering. Prob just stock OTK for now.

i'm going to be trying to recruit help for the tranny and axle replacements soon. going to be ordering shackles and shims today, just bought some hardlines at napa along with balljoints for the truck. hopefully i can just wake up early and get the work for the truck done in the morning so i can focus 100% on the cherokee over the next few weeks

Colin, I know I told you the story with my inner axle seals before, and I talked with Bill after I talked with you. We agree it will be a good idea to replace those while we have everything apart. Make sure you order a couple extras, and that you call the place up and give them the inner and outer diamaters of the seals.

I called them up gave them the specs, they still managed to send me the wrong ones again.

Ok sounds good. Are they a special deal or something?

When I get the axle (prob next week) I'm going to get measurements and check with my local parts guy. He's usually really good with that kind of stuff.

Hopefully that won't cause an issue lol.

I'm going to order gears soon.

My WJ stuff will be up for sale (if Liza doesn't want it) after the 44 is in and ready to go, which prob won't be for another month realistically. I'll probably try to get rid of the whole housing and everything at once.

nice. So what exactly is it? I mean, I know it's a hp44 with xj brackets....is it an otherwise empty housing, or what? I'm assuming if you're paying a grand for it there's more to it...??

it's a HP44 with XJ brackets welded on. It has 4.10s in it right now with a lockrite, complete from hub to hub. Even has a nice diff cover on it. Not sure from where though. Stock shafts (ford drivers side, waggy pass side).

I'm going to see if I can ream out the ford knuckles for OTK inverted T with chevy 3/4 ton ends. Mark's gonna check for me when he gets home this weekend or whenever.

I don't have the cash to go histeer yet, but this will get me going and when I do end up with histeer, I can just move the steering up.
