i have a cragar colin can buy cheap off of me. i was saving it for if i ever needed it... but he needs it more than me. i can have my dad bring it to work. it's basically brand new.

im kinda glad i didnt go now, otherwise i probably woulda been the only one to break more then colin (expect maybe the ring gear). i probably woulda broken my front shafts, possibly ruined the ball joints, steering woulda jsut self imploded, and my nice new fenders woulda been smashed.

my driver's side is peeeeerfect. my passenger side... well, that's another story.

no DW. but everything is pretty numb when you're going 50 mph on LTB's with 6 psi. i was toed in, not out, i don't think toe in can make DW. but i can attest that toe out can make at least some wobble. i'm going to put that other one in either later today or tomorrow. depending on weather. i haven't unloaded anything. i just parked it and went inside. and ate a ton of food.

who else bent tie rods?

one length each of 2x6x.250 and 2x2x.188. a price on 3x4x.250 would be good too not 100% sure how i'm going to do the rockers. i'll have a definite answer for you by the time we order. thanks ross.

workingg on some FEA on the bamboo carbon fiber bike thing. i happened to score a school copy and have it on my laptop. it's so much slower than the lab's computers and i don't feel like using my desktop... oh well.

jim, how's your work day going?

ive got a real version of ANSYS on my computer at home, which is a lot faster than the school's copies. i have my ...... sources:scottm:

which version? i'm on ansys 11 at the moment. ansys classic too. it's code based. GUI's are for wimps

i'm pretty sure i have ANSYS 10. it kinda was a pain though because if I created something at home, it wouldn't work with the educational liscense at school so i'd often have to do my work over if I couldnt' finish at home.

i blew up a d44 wheel bearing and had one hell of a time finding a replacement, pix will be up soon
