THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i'm not sure. somehow the tapered holes in his wheel for the lug nuts ended up opening up and not being tapered, and opened up wayy too much. ewwwie

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Somehow after we left Colins rearend starting shaking a little when he would turn to the right, unfortunately by the time we stopped to check, the driversside rear tire had all the lugnuts backed out and one gone. The rim from wobbling rounded out the rim to the point where its trashed and the studs are too. We put the spare on and after only a couple more stops to crank them down they stayed snug.

well at least you made it. i thought you were going to say it was the front. the rear could have happened at any point... odd coincidence

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

mmmmmm D30 ring gear with 5 teeth missing.
:looney:
anyone have an extra verizon phone, that they dont want. mine is shitting the bed....
I'd offer you mine, but I just got a new one Friday for that reason.
You have 2 months to build a D44 front now.
Eh, I think you all know my opinion of it, but I'll say it anyway. Grab another D30 or parts cheap and run that (probably what I would do at this point), or just skip to the bigger (cough hint cough kingpin cough cough) stuff.
for you, not nick :nono:
Ouch. Burn. :dunce:

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

No it was the rear. A new rim and some new studs, I'd also go with new lugnuts, and he's all set in the rear but up front is a diff. story. I was on fire yesterday with predictions, I even called the lugnuts but he said he didnt touch them so we didnt stop.

he's got this one all set up and fabbed with better coil buckets and the WJ swap fab parts already on. i'd keep this one, truss it, and put a new set of gears in.
