THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

That would look darn good. But man I would hate to come down on a rock or something with the bumper and bust one of those fancy lights on the trail!

Ha, I thought of that too. I'm going to add extra plating to that area below the light, and add a gusset/rib inside to resist bending.

And to answer your question from Chat, they are IPF lights that are meant to fit into an ARB bullbar for an FJ cruiser.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

On the BoS just put it as the vehicle was sold for parts. Solves that whole issue. But you do make a good point.

the lemon law stuff is mainly for dealers. "for parts", "as-is", "for off-road only", any of those void it pretty much.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

From what I remember, it protects any vehicle sale, dealer or private party.
Thats what I thought as well.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Did one of the previous owners of my ARB decide to open up a few holes?

It's possible that happened while I had it. I didn't even put it on myself. At the time of me buying that bumper I didn't even know how to spin a wrench. That was the first modification "I" did to a vehicle. After I had that put on with help from my dad's workers I would try to help out but even by the time I was putting the first lift kit on I was barely useful(thanks colin and adam).

But anyway, you own a pretty awesome piece of Carmelo history there. I did enumerable stupid things with that crazy construction of metal bolted to the front of my first jeep. I only hope you are as careless and stupid with it as I was. :scottm:

Trust me Kyle thats just as much private sale as dealer. There are actually even better laws in Mass. protecting consumers from dealers. My step-mother got my brother a new motor for his S-10 3 months after he bought it from a used dealer. Thats what she does, she goes after dealers and insurance co.s that dont pay the small people and gets them there money. When my bronco was totalled the most I got out of the ins. was $1600 and that was kickin and screamin, then I let her talk to them and I got $4k and my truck back.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

The lemon law is only applicable for a private party sale as long as you put the vehicle on the road and attempt to get it inspected within 7 days or purchase. if it fails within 7 days of purchase then you can get the person to pay. otherwise you're SOL

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Haven't the lemon laws changed somewhat recently? Thought I heard something about something happening to something of something's something.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

...so to speak. ;)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

That's my plan for the day, F*** s*** up. ;)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I have already planned on doing the whole screen shot of desktop and then hide icons and tool bar bit to the other co-op.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

One of my friends did that to me last year....took me a minute hahah

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

...what exactly do ya do to set that up, anyway? :D i'm at work now haha

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Do "Print Screen" and save it as an image somewhere.

Set that image as the desktop background, and drag all the icons off of the screen.

Watch them flip out :D

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

ahh alright. hah. stuuuupenndous.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Or just hide all icons, rather than drag them off. Also make sure you hide the taskbar

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread
