THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

no more DW. front end is super tight, but i'm toed out cuz i forgot to check that. and the exhaust manifold is on. (thanks adam and colin) and i'm toed out cuz i took coil isolators out from the front but kept the 7/8" spacers. kicked the toe to what looks like a rough estimate of 1/4" out. no big deal, i'll adjust it in the parking lot. lengthened my UCA's too. caster is 8* right now.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Glad to see the weekend treated you well Anthony.
I'll bet it drives better!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

oh my god does it.... i have a video of my passenger side lower ball joint. not only was the shaft bent, but it had at least 1/16" play, probably closer to .100 or so. and it was BONE DRY.

it wanders a bit, but that's just the toe (and by toe i mean toe out). i'm convinced the ever so slight bump induced shimmy at 65+ on big bump is also caused by the toe out. going to adjust that and by a 2.5" exhaust clamp gots a leak before the cat.

but, thanks bill :D

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

yeah they worked real well today, the same cant be said about the at's, those gummed up quick, also im really happy with my new to me MTR's

The a/t and wheels that were on mario's xj are my old tires. They work really well in dry rock and wet rock. Just don't mix in mud.

i thought they were your old tires, it prob didnt help that he wasnt aired down either

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I was just being lazy not airing down. He was too worried about loosing a bead with the 10" wheel bashing around in the mud.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I pwn exhaust manifolds!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

On second thought, after driving to work this morning, I believe its more in the brake pedal, and just front end in general.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

colin pwns tcase output bearings that are actually fine.

and intake manifold dowels :D

Thanks to both you guys for helping me with my front driveshaft and the t-case output bearing (even though it didn't need to be replaced :roflmao:)

I'm just glad we didn't have to drop the bellypan to put the front driveshaft in. I don't think there's much you can't do with the bellypan up now, other than pulling the tranny/t-case or doing a tranny mount.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I also mushroom UCA bushings that would have otherwise come out fine :D

yes, yes you do. hahah those were absolutely destroyed by the time they came out.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

pretty sure i have a test right now. lame. oh well.
