Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i know i know its just until i can get the cherokee fixed, while keeping the jeep addiction at bay. just has some minor issues but it starts everytime, runs good and isnt horrible at stopping but that might have been the weight of the boggers there. it actually runs decent, but ive barely gotten to drive it due to the tires being slashed all the time. bastard of a brother

ill try to get them tires for you tomorrow. what time will you be able to make it out to worcester? my plan is to goto spencer around 9pm tonight pick them up and then have them for tomorrow.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i work until around 5:30, so I'd be able to be at harbor freight by 6:30 or so, or wherever is more convenient for you

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

ya, but you could slide in the parts that would be the hardest to weld. How else could you weld completely around if the cage was assembled in the vehicle. The small part by the floor would be easy to weld completely around the tube, while up by the ceiling it would be impossible.

You tack weld everything together, cut small holes in the floor where the tube is (not a big deal as that area should, if you are building it correctly, get plated), then drop the cage down. You can now weld everything together. Raise the cage back up, plate the floors, weld that up, and you now have a cage.

How can you weld together the front hoop, then slide it in? How can you slide a piece that is say 4 feet tall, through an area thats only 3 feet tall?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

thaaaanks bob. it definately helps especially now that i'm going to have to get a new set of tires for the XJ since i only had 4 32s for it

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i ran these tires on my xj when i had a rear sway bar and they rubbed the links made a small groove in the tire that ill show you. they all hold air i have not had them on the jeep since a year and they all still have air, one is a little low i think.

these are a pic of them. not actually them but same thing.

theyre going to go on the YJ as temporary tires since the boggers that came with it are shitty on the street and it's going to be my DD until i fix the cherokee. i still have a swaybar ont he XJ but when i put in the d44 it's coming off
