Go measure the ID of the inner bearings, I'll match that against the FSJ bearings I have in my hubs under my deck. An easy way to check is if the inner bearing surface diameter is somewhat bigger, vs friggen huge, compared to the outer bearing surface diameter.
Unless you do F250 high steer, you can't use a ford outer shaft. The spindles are all different length between the chevy-jeep-fords, so you need to use the corresponding shafts. The Chevy/FSJ spindle is longer than the ford, and therefore you wouldn't have enough splines surface sticking out of the spindel to fit a hub body onto, let alone the retaining clip.
And as far as "wasting" things, you will have to remount the hydro assist when you do high steer as you won't be able to use the same mounting locations, since the steering will be in different spots.
