You should win. I always won when I was younger and got tickets like that. Just calmly state your case and at the end you tell them you dont appreciate the officer telling you, if I want to be a Hillbilly I should move to Alabama. Mention all the things the officer did, like looking under the hood, checking for cats, even though its there and basically looking for something to bust you on. Your vehicle passed inspection therefore it should be legal. You could throw out, which I did one time, is say the only thing you recently did to the vehicle is change tires but they were only slightly wider and give it a more aggressive stance, which might make it seem higher than it is. He didnt measure it so therefore he has no idea. Its like saying how fast you were going without a radar.

i will. ive learned to always be nice to the cop. you start getting an additude then it just gets worse. as much as i wanted i held back.... ill tell the person that when i fight it.

Back in the day you used to face the cop who pulled you over, now there is only a representative from the station. The officer just has to right up a quick detailed report of the incident. I remember winning one or two just because the officer didnt show. Those were the days.

I also just noticed the high flow cat and Flowmaster 40, Nice. I had that on my 95 and made a great tone but nothing like my FS trucks. I have a F250 with dual Flowmasters and headers off a 'built' 460 and Ive never been pulled over. I also dont get on it near them because it is louder then my Harley.

he probably was looking for you to fire back at him and when you didn't, he was mad.

i know multiple cops with big jeeps... it's so dumb. the jackasses in middle school grow up to get jobs, and some of them become cops. it's a fact.

I hear you theres an officer in UJ. I also normally work outside and get a detail officer almost every day for work, so I know alot of cops in my area and quite a bit have Jeeps and Trucks with quite a bit of them lifted and customized.

FWIW I used explorer rotors. I'd just get ZJ rotors if I was to do it again.

I don't.... I'm working today, just like evvvvvery other day haha. I was hoping to get going on that after I left here I meant... Cause today I'm working 7am-3pm whereas tomorrow I'm working 7am-10pm, and then back to work 7am on Friday....I predict that I will have zero Jeep time tomorrow.

eh, I'm not whining, just frustrated that I'm ordering parts and stuff, and haven't had more than 3 hours in the past week that I've been able to get outside and work on it. I have Mondays off, work at least 8 hours a day otherwise... What have we had the past two Monday's? Those wonnnnderful snowstorms :laugh2:

oh and thanks for the tip on the rotors... only thing is I've got the 5 on 5.5 so i'm wondering if i should drill out the zj rotors for that pattern, using the axleshaft as a jig of sorts, or just order up the teraflex rotors when I get the spacers ordered today. I guess I'll see what they cost. If they're relatively close to the price of the ZJ rotors I'll probably just go with those and be done with it...

yep thats what I'll probably do. I want the hand throttle too... I might just make my own though, looking at the picture of what's included I wouldn't be surprised if I could do it myself for a fraction of the cost...

hand throttle is easy i have mine made just not in yet.use any old cable...i used my 4x4posi lock but id go with something a lil smaller just cuz its a PITA to route and kinda stiff...then go to a bike shop and get a brake lever then attach at both ends and your good to go.
